High Efficiency Fully Automatic Low Noise Horizontal Centrifugal Mixer

The LHZ series centrifugal mixer operates by pumping two phases jointly into a rotating mixing bowl where they are accelerated to the bowl's circumferential velocity. A centripetal pump discharges the liquid mixture from the mixing bowl, with intensive mixing occurring in the pump's channels. The mixed liquid is then discharged through the outlet.

Discharge line pressure is adjusted using a throttling valve, which maintains the suspension so that the centripetal pump channels remain immersed below the surface, preventing air intake. The hermetic version serves as the standard for gas-tight applications, featuring a slide ring packing with stainless-steel housing slide ring and hard carbon counter-ring for optimal sealing.

Power from the three-phase AC motor is transferred directly from the horizontal motor shaft to the mixer bowl. The variable speed mixer with frequency converter drive allows infinite electric adjustment of phase mixing, enabling customized mixing characteristics. This flexibility is particularly valuable for multi-purpose applications where drop size and turbulence requirements vary with speed.
