Product Features

The rotating part of these decanter tricanter centrifuges is mounted on a compact, in-line frame with main bearings at both ends. Vibration dampers are placed under the frame. The rotating part is enclosed in a casing with a cover and a bottom section featuring integrated outlets for both solids and the liquid being removed.

Drive System Options

One Motor Drive

This simple design offers cost-effective purchase and operation. One motor drive systems are used when solids volume is constant, solids are easy to convey, and requirements for residual water content in solids are not stringent. The input shaft is driven by the main motor via a belt drive, generating differential speed as a function of bowl speed and gear transmission. Speed can be easily adjusted by replacing belt pulleys.

Two Motor Drive

This system enables cost-effective differential speed regulation under good operating conditions with wide regulating ranges. The secondary motor sets the input shaft in motion, generating differential speed as a function of bowl speed and gear transmission. Differential speed can be easily regulated by changing motor speed. Two motor drives are used when solid volumes fluctuate significantly, solids are conveyed under difficult conditions, and stringent requirements apply to residual water content.

Hydro Drive

Similar to the two motor drive but with different design. Instead of mechanical gear, a rotating hydromotor is installed and supplied with hydraulic regulation by a pump unit. Since differential speed is proportionate to conveyed oil quantity, automatic regulation can be provided without problems.
