The LW580 river dredging silt dewatering decanter centrifuge is a high throughput machine developed for environmental dredging contractors who must process large volumes of silt slurry from rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Dredging projects generate slurry with very low solids content, often between 2 and 10 percent, and the logistics of transporting such dilute material to disposal sites are prohibitively expensive. This decanter thickens and dewaters the slurry on site,
