Application

This Palm Oil Purifier is designed to purify palm oil that overflows from the top of the mill's main settling tank. It effectively removes impurities and insoluble water from crude palm oil through fully automated operation.

Operating Principle

This palm oil purifier is a solids ejecting disc stack centrifuge. The rotating bowl is driven by an electric motor via a flat belt and friction clutch. The separation process involves:

Suspension is fed into the separator bowl through a feeding pipe and enters the disc stack
Heavy phase and sludge are forced toward the bowl periphery
Light phase flows toward the bowl center for pumping and further processing
Heavy phase is directed over a top disc into a chamber where a paring device pumps it out
Sludge collects in the sludge space and discharges intermittently via automated hydraulic system
Sludge ports open at preset intervals, allowing sludge to be collected in the frame and exit via cyclone
