Continuous Separation Technology
The disc stack separator efficiently separates solids and one or two liquid phases in a single continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers. The interface position where liquid phases meet can be easily adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency.
Special plates forming the "disc stack" provide additional surface settling area, dramatically accelerating the separation process. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of various solids from one or two liquids. Concentrated solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually, depending on centrifuge type and application requirements.
