Centrifugal Separation Technology

The disc stack separator efficiently separates solids and one or two liquid phases from each other in a single continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers. The interface position between liquid phases can be adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency.

Special plates (the "disc stack") provide additional surface settling area, dramatically speeding up the separation process. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of various solids from one or two liquids. Concentrated solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually based on centrifuge type and solids volume.

2-Phase Separation Disc Stack Centrifuge

Separation occurs inside a rotating bowl where feed material is introduced from the top via a stationary inlet pipe. The liquid phase moves through the disc stack to the center and is pumped out via a built-in paring disc, while solids collect in the periphery and are discharged intermittently through a hydraulic system.

3-Phase Separation Disc Stack Centrifuge

This configuration separates heavy phase, light phase, and solids simultaneously. The heavy phase and sludge move toward the bowl periphery while the light phase flows toward the center. Solids collect in the sludge space and discharge intermittently via hydraulic system operation.
