Working Principle

The disc stack centrifuge employs high centrifugal forces to continuously separate solids and liquid phases in a single process. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquids form concentric inner layers. The interface position between phases can be adjusted for maximum separation efficiency.

The disc stack design dramatically accelerates separation by providing additional surface settling area. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of various solids from one or two liquids. Solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually based on application requirements and centrifuge type.
