The SIP disc stack centrifuge is specifically engineered for sterile processing applications in biotechnology, including vaccine production and transgenic biological product processing. This equipment ensures continuous separation of pathogens and genetically modified organisms from fermented liquids within a completely closed, sterile system.

Our self-cleaning centrifuges are integrated into sterile and fully enclosed systems, with the entire separator system designed for steam sterilization to maintain strict aseptic conditions required in biological technology applications.

Operating Principle & Bowl Components

Operation Cycle: After starting and reaching full speed, operating water enters the sealed chamber (6) to raise the piston (4), closing the outlet (3). Material to be separated is fed into the bowl through pipe (1). Centrifugal force causes impurities to gather on the bowl periphery.

At predetermined intervals, operating water flows into the open chamber (5), forcing the sliding piston downward to open outlet (3). Impurities discharge outside the bowl through outlet (3) and are collected externally. Simultaneously, the light phase gathers in the bowl center and discharges via centripetal pump (2), while the heavy phase is directed to the centripetal pump room through disc gland and discharged.

This completes one cycle. Operating water then re-enters the sealing chamber (6), raising piston (4) to close ejection port (3), and the cycle repeats continuously.
