Centrifugal Separation Technology

The disc stack separator separates solids and one or two liquid phases from each other in one single continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. When denser solids are subjected to these forces, they are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers. The interface position where these liquid phases meet can be easily adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency.

Special plates (the "disc stack") provide additional surface settling area, dramatically speeding up the separation process. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of various solids from one or two liquids. Concentrated solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually, depending on centrifuge type and application requirements.

2-Phase Separation Disc Stack Centrifuge

Operation Process:
1. Feed introduction via stationary inlet pipe
2. Acceleration in specially designed distributor
3. Separation between discs in disc stack
4. Liquid phase movement to center and discharge via paring disc
5. Solids collection in periphery
6. Intermittent solids discharge via hydraulic system

1. Suspension feeding through inlet tube
2. Heavy phase and sludge forced to bowl periphery
3. Light phase flows toward center for discharge
4. Heavy phase discharge via paring device
5. Automatic intermittent solids discharge via hydraulic system
