After starting and reaching full speed, operating water enters the sealed chamber to raise the piston and close the outlet. Material is fed into the bowl through the feeding pipe. Centrifugal force causes impurities to gather at the bowl periphery. At programmed intervals, operating water flows into the open chamber, forcing the sliding piston down to open the discharge port. Impurities are discharged from the bowl and collected externally. Simultaneously, the light phase gathers at the bowl center and is discharged via the centripetal pump, while the heavy phase is directed to the centripetal pump room through the disc gland and discharged. Operating water then re-enters the sealing chamber, raising the piston and closing the ejection port, completing the cycle.
