Working Principle
Decanter centrifuge working principle diagram
The feed enters the bowl through a stationary inlet tube and is accelerated smoothly by an inlet distributor. Centrifugal force from rotation causes sedimentation of solids on the bowl wall.
Separation occurs in a horizontal cylindrical bowl equipped with a screw conveyor that rotates in the same direction as the bowl but at a slightly different speed, moving solids toward the conical end for discharge.
Clarified liquid is separated through adjustable overflow plates throughout the cylindrical section of the bowl.

Material Construction
All material contact surfaces are made of high-quality stainless steel or duplex stainless steel. Bowl bodies are centrifugal cast to ensure equipment durability and reliability.

Specialized bowl and spiral designs press against dewatered cake at the conical end in a high-pressure, two-way manner to maximize cake dryness and minimize moisture content.
