Working Principle
The disc stack centrifuge separates solids and one or two liquid phases in a single continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers.
The interface position between liquid phases can be easily adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency. The disc stack provides additional surface settling area, dramatically accelerating the separation process through specific plate configuration, shape, and design.
Concentrated solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually, depending on centrifuge type and solids volume requirements.
