The LW450 textile dyeing sludge dewatering decanter centrifuge provides a complete automatic solution for the highly variable sludge produced by textile printing and dyeing wastewater plants. Dye house effluent contains residual dyestuff, sizing agents, surfactants, heavy metals from certain dye classes and large quantities of suspended solids that are difficult to settle. After chemical coagulation and dissolved air flotation, the resulting sludge remains thixotropic and compressible, which makes conventional filter presses slow and labor intensive. This decanter centrifuge, combined with an automatic flocculation dosing system, continuously thickens and dewaters such sludge to a stackable cake with minimum operator attention.

The complete system comprises a polymer preparation and dosing skid, a sludge feed pump and the LW450 centrifuge controlled by a PLC that monitors feed flow, polymer dosage, torque and differential speed. When sludge consistency changes, the control system automatically adjusts the back drive to maintain constant cake dryness and liquid clarity. Because dyeing sludge often contains aggressive chemicals, the machine can be supplied with SS316L bowl and conveyor, and all external surfaces are painted with an epoxy system resistant to humid, chemically loaded atmospheres typical of textile parks.

With the dosing unit operating automatically, one supervisor can manage several decanters, which substantially lowers labor cost compared with plate and frame filter presses.

Each LW450 system is fully assembled, piped and tested in our factory, including a trial run with water and a simulated sludge load to verify vibration, temperature and noise levels.
