Continuous Industrial Soy Milk Separation Clarification Decanter Line LWS600

Scaling a soy milk line is not simply a matter of buying a bigger pump. Above roughly twenty tonnes per hour, fluctuations in feed consistency, temperature and pulp load start to show up as clarity swings in the finished product, and operators end up chasing the machine all shift. The LWS600 is the large-frame answer to that problem: a 600 mm bowl with a long clarification zone, sized so that normal upstream variation is absorbed inside the machine rather than passed downstream.

The bowl runs at 3,300 rpm and develops 3,650 G. A 4,4 to 1 length-to-diameter ratio gives the slurry a long residence time, which is what converts a fluctuating feed into a stable overflow. The torque-adaptive back drive keeps the differential speed matched to the actual solids load, so a heavier pulp batch is handled by a temporary change in conveying speed rather than by a drop in clarity. Rated capacity is 25 to 32 tonnes per hour, which covers most industrial soy milk, tofu and soy base plants built in the last decade.

• Plant-Wide Data Interface: Modbus TCP and optional Profinet links allow throughput, torque, differential speed and alarm history to be logged in the plant SCADA system for traceability

The LWS600 serves industrial soy milk and soy base plants, large tofu factories running continuous lines, and beverage plants that produce soy drinks alongside other plant-based milks. It is sized for the throughput band where a single machine can carry the whole line, avoiding the piping complexity and control conflicts of running two smaller decanters in parallel.

Beyond soy, the same frame is used for almond, oat and rice base clarification, for coconut milk separation at scale, and for fruit puree dewatering in large beverage plants. Plants that expect to grow often specify the LWS600 early and run it at reduced feed rate during the first years, because the machine remains stable at part load and can be brought up to full capacity without a second capital purchase.

The machine ships disassembled into bowl assembly, frame and drive, each in its own steel-framed export case with transport locks, VCI film and shock indicators. A lifting plan and rigging drawings are supplied in advance so the plant can prepare crane access and floor loading before arrival.

Factory acceptance testing covers dynamic balancing, a four-hour water run and a two-hour soy slurry run, documented with vibration, bearing temperature, throughput and discharge moisture data. Warranty is 24 months on the rotating assembly and 12 months on wear parts. Huading provides installation supervision, commissioning and a two-day operator training programme covering start-up sequence, alarm handling, CIP and wear inspection.
