Working Principle

The separation process occurs in a horizontal cylindrical bowl equipped with a screw conveyor for efficient solids handling.

Feed Process: Material enters through stationary inlet tube and accelerates via inlet distributor. Centrifugal force causes sedimentation of solids on bowl wall.

Separation Mechanism: Screw conveyor rotates in same direction as bowl but at differential speed, moving solids toward conical end for discharge.

Clarification: Separation occurs throughout cylindrical section with clarified liquid separated by adjustable overflow plates.
